Mission Statement

South Texas Skaters is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit roller derby league that empowers individuals across all ages through competitive, inclusive, and community-driven athletics. Through our junior and adult programs, we foster personal growth, teamwork, and leadership while working to expand access to roller derby and promote a lifelong love of sport.  

Vision Statement

South Texas Skaters envisions a thriving, inclusive roller derby community that connects youth and adults through shared values of resilience, respect, and empowerment. By expanding local partnerships, supporting skater development, and hosting community events, we aim to make roller derby accessible and meaningful for people of all backgrounds across South Texas.

Our Teams

The South Texas Knockouts is a co-ed junior roller derby league for kids aged 5-17, with a focus on teamwork, athleticism, communication, and inclusivity. The kids are the heart of our organization!

The South Texas Regulators is an adult roller derby league under WFTDA, for ages 18 and up. Many of our adult skaters are also officials for the junior league, which contributes to a sense of overall community in the entire organization.
