Yes. There is a nominal fee associated with credit card transactions that is covered by the donor, so that the team gets the full amount of the intended donation.

Our entire organization is a 501c(3) nonprofit. The board collects the money into one large fund and then allocates it where it is needed. Some of your donation may go to pay for a bout venue, and some may go to helping a skater on scholarship cover their dues.

At this time, no. Since our organization is still very small, both the adults and juniors share one account, and the board votes on where the money goes.

Nope. Everyone involved in the organization is a volunteer. We all offer our time and expertise without pay to keep the leagues running. We do it for the love of roller derby.

Occasionally, we have to ask out-of-league volunteers from other organizations to come help us put on a tournament. In those cases we do use team funds to provide a small gift card to help cover travel costs, and we provide drinks and snacks for our skating officials.
